Job: Residential Counselor

The Academy Schools is looking for motivated, loyal and hard-working individuals to counsel and serve as a positive role models for students in our Sanction/Diagnostic Residential Program. Among other other qualifications detailed below, candidates must possess and demonstrate confidence in their ability to influence and modify inappropriate behavior, as well as develop productive relationships with our youth.

This position works with our students in the area of group and individual counseling, industrial trade training, academic tutoring during the hours of 2:30pm - 11:00pm. The starting salary for this position is $28,000.

Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required. Child abuse, criminal history, FBI, driver’s license and physical clearances are all required upon employment.
