Jobing Description
Audits work activities of production, receiving, shipping and
inventory departments to verify conformance of activities to companies quality assurance standards. Performs dock audits, assist quality office with administrative and data entry duties and provides support to the assembly associates Observes and asks workers questions pertaining to job functions, work instructions, customer quality standards, work in process, training and companies ISO standards. Reads processing information such as work instructions, specification sheets and bills of materials to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications. Performs, documents and reports line audits, product audits and calibration records. Reports quality concerns or improvement ideas immediately to Director of Quality. Observes workers using equipment to verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards. Assists workers in resolving quality standards interpretation and technical problems. Confers with technical personnel and department supervisors to report and resolve assembly and testing problems, and reports unresolved problems. Inspects test equipment to verify equipment functions according to standards. Reports substandard equipment performance to supervisor or maintenance Personnel and serves on the Internal Audit Team. Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Database, Internet, Manufacturing, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software. ISO Overview, General Safety Training Overview, PDC Database Training, Basic TH Solder Class, Basic SMT Solder Class, Basic Lead Free Solder Class, Basic Component ID Class, Advanced Component ID Class and Basic Wire Assembly Class a plus.
