Job: Cable/Wire Harness Assembly-Beaver Falls $10/hr

Duties:

Operates equipment and performs repetitive bench or line assembly
operations to produce wiring harnesses, final assemblies and mechanical
functions by performing the following duties.

Reads instructions such as work orders, diagrams, receives verbal instructions, or follows sample product to determine assembly duties and materials needed for assembly.

Wraps and ties wires together at designated points to form harness.

Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating,
sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping or etching.

Installs heat sinks, sockets, faceplates, and accessories.

Performs set-up and operations of a variety of automated and semi-automated equipment for the processing of wire, connectors and terminals.

Performs online go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and
assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

Tends machines, such as terminal crimper, riveting machine, wire cutter, or autosplice.

Education and/or Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six
months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.

ISO Overview, General Safety Training Overview, PDC Database Training, Basic TH Solder Class, Basic Component ID Class and Basic Wire Assembly Class.

Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
