Jobing Description
This position works directly with at risk girls to deliver academic support, career education, and life skills related to their Pathway Plan goals through interactive group, individualized projects, and partnerships in the community. This position is responsible for conducting academic assessments, provides academic support, and coordinates remediation efforts. This position's purpose is to assist at risk girls obtain literacy goals by developing remediation plan and working with volunteer tutors to implement them. Bachelor's degree required.
Skills / Requirements
Education/Knowledge Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services or related field required. Experience working with special needs/at-risk children and families preferred. Basic computer skills needed. Good written and verbal communication skills necessary, as well as an ability to develop rapport with clients. Strong organizational, problem solving, interpersonal relationship and communications skills necessary. Licensure/Certification: Clearances Required: Act 33 & Act 34 Clearances, FBI Clearance & Act 80 Requirements, good driving record, valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and proof of insurance per policy.
