Jobing Description
The Maintenance Worker will assist the department in performing preventative and general maintenance/repairs ensuring the building(s), equipment, mechanical operating systems, and utilities are maintained in good working order and facility grounds are properly maintained. The self motivated candidate will have experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and mechanics. Duties include, but are not limited to, replacing or repairing wiring, electrical equipment, and light fixtures; building or repairing walls and floor systems; painting; installing doors and windows; reading/comprehending blueprints and manuals; following building codes and safety regulations. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. The qualified applicant will be customer/detail oriented, possess organizational and problem solving abilities, and have good oral/written communication skills.
Skills / Requirements
Education: GED or higher
Experience: 2-5 years
